Dental bonding uses a mixture of dental resin and crushed glass particles. Dr. Leah will apply this material directly to your teeth, shape it, then harden it with a UV light. Then, she can trim and refine the bonding material to reshape your teeth and treat issues like chipped teeth, misshapen teeth, and uneven teeth.
Enameloplasty, also called “shaping and contouring” involves removing a small amount of material from some of your teeth. It can be used to remove tiny imperfections, reshape pointed teeth, and provide you with a more balanced smile.
Veneers are thin, tooth-shaped shells that are made of porcelain, and are built to fit over your front teeth. They can cover up almost any cosmetic imperfection, and are the most durable and long-lasting cosmetic dentistry treatment.
Lumineers are the same as veneers, with one important difference. They are much thinner, which means they require minimal enamel removal, or sometimes no enamel removal at all during treatment. This is why they are also sometimes called “minimal prep” or “no prep” veneers.
